Free eNewsletter for Appraisers

Appraisal Course Associates now publishing "ACA Appraiser's Update," a free online newsletter for those interested in personal property appraising

"Personal property appraisers have too few places to go to find accurate and timely information helpful to their profession," says Dave J. Maloney, Jr., AOA CM, a Certified Appraiser and veteran appraisal course writer and instructor. Maloney went on to say that while a small number of appraisers receive information from societies to which they belong, the vast majority of appraisers belong to no society at all. This lack of timely and readily-available updates is the reason Maloney and his partner, Bill Novotny, ISA AM, GCA decided to publish the professional eNewsletter entitled "ACA Appraiser's Update." While primarily directed at appraisers, the eNewsletter is also useful to those who have a tangential interest in the profession such as estate liquidators, auctioneers, dealers, claims adjusters, attorneys, etc.

The "ACA Appraiser's Update" is published regularly and includes appraisal as well as Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) related news, tips, announcement, Q&As and articles. Examples of recent articles include "Appraisal Report Templates," "New IRS Regulations Raise the Bar," and "Is a Hands-On Inspection Always Required?" To sign up for this free eNewsletter or to read the eNewsletter archive of articles, visit www.ACAcourses.com.
