Value ranking is a concept which declares that the value of a property is relative to the position in which its value characteristics are ranked against the value characteristics of properties with which it is being compared. The subject property is placed in the ranks according to how it compares. Its value, then, lies between the values of those comparable properties by which it is flanked.
