Assignment Conditions
Assignment conditions are those aspects of the assignment which, if varied, might alter the appraisal results. Included are:
• Assumptions and extraordinary assumptions made by the appraiser
• Limiting conditions under which the appraiser must work,
• Hypothetical conditions which would lead to a hypothetical appraisal, and
• Jurisdictional exceptions which might countermand portions of USPAP. (Rarely does the latter effect the personal property appraiser. See "Jurisdictional Exception Rule" in Lesson 7 for a discussion.)
