Press) is now ready.
With 570

completeness, understandability and USPAP compliance of written
appraisal reports.

"I concluded
that it was very probably the most thorough book on appraising personal
property available in the marketplace today. Moreover, because the
volume was built around USPAP, it did not get bogged down in the
competing terminologies used by various appraisal societies in their
education programs. The book was relevant to all personal property
appraisers using USPAP as their practice guideline."
-Stephen P. Sweeting,
MRICS

Practice with confidence by
making use of the only "how-to" book for the personal
property appraiser. This book covers theory, principles, methodology,
practices, standards, ethics, legal issues and report writing. It even
has all-new and updated sample appraisals!
This is a must-have resource book for every
personal property appraiser's library. I refer to it on a regular
basis. It is easy to use, has a great index, is current with USPAP, and
the text/content covers all important and significant areas of
appraising. The numerous examples and sample documents are
excellent.
- Todd Sigety, ISA CAPP,
Appraisers Workshop
I have been reading your Appraising
Personal Property in detail and it made so much more sense than the
classes I took! You wrote it in a way I could easily understand.
Thank you! - A.N.
Your book is a MASTERPIECE! It should be on
EVERYONE'S shelf! Great Job. It has answered every situation possible
that we have come across. - T.H.
"I use your book for every assignment!"
- L.M.
"I'm not sure how I could possibly keep
up-to-date if it were not for your book." - S.C.
"I find it very comforting to have black and
white instructions for gray
area situations!" - R.M.
"If you aspire to become an appraiser and
have not read this book, you should hang your head in shame."
(Harry Rinker)
"I greatly look forward to
receiving improved appraisal reports, since any excuse of ignorance has
been removed by your book." (IRS appraisal reviewer)

Appraising Personal
Property: Principles and Methodology - 4th Ed.
is the only comprehensive, well-organized, practical and fully-indexed
course book and reference guide to personal property appraising.
This book is
unique. No other book or course of instruction provides such a thorough
grounding in the fundamentals of personal property appraising. Plus,
it's been written in strict conformance with the ethical and
performance requirements of USPAP!
- Learn
the appraisal theory, principles, practices, ethics, standards,
methodology, legal issues and report writing skills associated
with developing credible appraisal opinions, conclusions and
analyses.

how to report your assignment results in a competent and
USPAP-compliant manner.
- As a
fully-indexed reference guide, this book will also allow you to
quickly and easily find the appraisal-related information you are
seeking.
They say you can't
tell a book by its cover. That may be, but taking a look at this book's
will certainly
help!
Not enough? Here is a peek
inside the 4th edition. This .pdf preview includes a description of the
appraisal report structure, its required content, and even a sample
transmittal letter for a donation appraisal. You are welcome to use the
sample transmittal letter as you like. If you quote from the balance of
the material, kindly acknowledge its source.
This new edition
has so many new topics and expanded discussions that I've lost count.
Size-wise though, this 4th edition is a whopping 570 pages!
